Bachelor Thesis

Before starting their bachelor thesis, students at HPI typically work on a bachelor project for several months. In my case, I was part of a team of eight exploring Algorithm Auditing via Statistical Hypothesis Testing. With what I learned there, I decided to switch sides from auditing algorithms to developing algorithms that are less biased. In particular, I set myself the goal of improving an existing debiasing method.

I learned a lot during literature research and testing different implementations. However, the most important aspect for me was scientific writing and how to communicate complex topics concisely.

I have published my code in this repository and set up a GitHub Page providing a summary of my findings.
